Parents as Partners

Empowering Parents to Strengthen Families

The Parents as Partners (PAP) program was launched in January 2024 by G-thamini Youth Organization to address the growing challenges faced by modern parents. As parents juggle work, family life, and personal stressors, they may struggle to manage their emotions and behaviours, which can negatively impact their children.

PAP aims to collaborate with G-thamini to strengthen support and contribute to the organization’s mission. The program focuses on equipping parents with the skills and knowledge to foster positive parent-child relationships.

By overcoming communication barriers, enhancing parenting techniques, and promoting open dialogue about sensitive topics like sexuality, sexual risks, and substance abuse, PAP helps protect children from the challenges they may encounter.
