Every December, the G-Thamini Youth Group brings the spirit of the season to life for over 350 children from Mukuru Kwa Njenga. Now in its 13th year, our beloved Annual Holiday Party continues to be a source of joy, community, and hope.

This heartwarming celebration is packed with fun and laughter — from bouncing castles and camel rides to face painting and creative games. The children enjoy a festive meal together and receive gift bags filled with essential school supplies, ensuring they head into the new year with confidence and excitement.

For many of these children, whose families are unable to afford holiday festivities, this event is a rare and treasured experience made possible through the kindness of our supporters and well-wishers.

This year, we’re especially proud to share that the holiday meal will be prepared under the leadership of Francis Mburu, one of G-Thamini’s co-founders and a current culinary student at the prestigious BOMA International School of Hospitality.
